Let me guess...

You were the kid who was "so smart but just needed to apply themselves."

You've read all the productivity books. Downloaded all the apps. Started all the planners (usually in January, abandoned by February).

You know what you're supposed to do. You just can't make yourself do it - and then you spiral into a shame hangover that makes everything feel worse.

You're not lazy. You're not broken. You have an ADHD brain in a world that wasn't built for you.

And that's exactly what we work on together.

Sound familiar?

  • You can hyper-focus for six hours on something interesting but can't respond to a simple email for 3 weeks

  • Your emotions hit like a freight train and you've said things - or done things - that you deeply regret

  • You have a brain that won’t shut off & fires ideas at you like a popcorn machine, but you struggle to follow through on them

  • You're hard on yourself for not being further along - in your career, your relationships, your life in general

  • You've tried "just trying harder" and spoiler: it doesn't f*cking work

If you're nodding along... yip, we'd work well together.

Why coaching

(and why me specifically)?

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 36. By then I'd already spent decades thinking I was the problem.

I'm a certified coach, I've been doing this work for years, I have a podcast with 170+ episodes on adult ADHD & I've been featured in a New Zealand ADHD documentary. But honestly? The most important thing I bring to our sessions is that I get it from the inside.

This isn't therapy (I'll refer you on if that's what you need). It's practical, real-talk coaching that helps you understand why your brain works the way it does - and build strategies that actually work with it instead of against it.

We work on emotional regulation. On follow-through. On stopping the cycle of "great plan → forget it exists → beat myself up → repeat." On building a life that fits your actual brain, not the brain society told you to have.

And if it isn't already obvious - I love this work. ADHD brains are my absolute favourite thing to nerd out on & the people who have them are my favourite humans! I don't say that to be cute. I say it because it's true, & you'll feel it the second we get on a call.

1:1 Coaching options

MONTHLY COACHING

4 x 50-minute sessions per month + email support between sessions | Zoom

This is the only way I work with 1:1 clients - and there's a reason for that.

One-off sessions are fine for a quick win, but ADHD isn't a quick-fix situation. Real change happens when you have consistent support, someone in your corner week to week, and enough time to actually implement stuff instead of just talking about it.

Here's what you get:

  • 4 x weekly 50-minute sessions on Zoom

  • Email support between sessions — because your brain doesn't wait until next Tuesday to have a crisis

  • A coach who genuinely gives a shit about your progress

Month-to-month. No lock-in. Cancel anytime (though most people stick around because it's actually working).

$900 NZD/month · includes GST

Currently Fully Booked — But Here's What To Do

I'm not keeping a formal waitlist right now, but I do occasionally have spots open up - and when they do, I fill them fast.

If you're genuinely serious about 1:1 coaching, send me an email:

xena@navigatingadultadhd.com with the subject line "Coaching Enquiry" and tell me a little bit about where you're at and what you're hoping to work on.

Not sure if coaching is right for you yet? Check out the Adulting with ADHD program or my online resources - both are great places to start while you wait.
